"Had to return it - twice - poor quality."0.5 starson by golfgirlgolf
Pros: Big Screen
Cons: Space here was too limited - see Summary section.
Summary: 1. The microphone failed immediately in the first one we got - then failed again in the second, it just took a little longer.
2. Poor reception - for whatever reason the phone's reception is considerably weaker than the HTC EVO 4G we had, that was replaced with this phone. When we ultimately gave up and replaced the SIII with something better, we also found greatly improved reception.
3. The display is harsh looking and gave us eye fatigue. Part of this might have been caused by ads popping up everywhere. This thing makes Las Vegas look mellow. The display pales in comparison to an Apple retina display if you hold them side by side.
4. Default Mail app is horrible and very difficult to read.
5. Built in sounds are awful.
When a phone can't even do basic phone service well, it's time for forget all the bells and whistles and come back to reality. The phone was a complete failure for us - having had to return two of them, we finally gave up and went with them and went with iPhone 5 with has a much more robust build quality.
