  • "WIFI sucks, overheats, screen fades out in sunlight"
    3.0 stars
    on by nessp

    Pros: Big screen

Cons: WIFI sucks, overheats, dim screen, Start up from shut down state takes 30 seconds. Solutions offered by tech support were basic and didn't help. Samsung knows there are problems with WIFI reception and over heating but aren't addressing them.

Summary: Shoulda waited for the IPhone 5

I use the "Brightness Level widget". The 2x2 widget lets me choose between 5 preset brightness levels with once touch. If I walk into the sun I hit the upper right side of the disc- even if I can't see it I know where it is and then poof, I can see my phone. The next time I am inside it is easy to pick a lower level with one touch so I don't use as much battery. This is my favorite app and makes using the GS3 outside in the sunlight easy.
