thanks for letting us know verizon sucks...btw it doesn't, it's the best network

It's valuable information. I didn't realize there would be a $360/year cost to owning this phone. I thought it was worth the $199 with a 2-year contract, but if it's going to cost me another $720, then I think I'll pass.

no you suck

I have to agree with others who say this is a review of the hardware, not the carrier. You basically said there was nothing wrong with the device, so apparently you got one. Do us a favor and give us reasons why you like the device, not why you hate Verizon. If you want to review the carrier, find another venue. Sure the carrier is associated with the device, but saying Verizon sucks for making you pay for the data plan is like saying AT&T sucks for making you pay for a service plan even if you want to only use the iPhone for WiFi access only and not use it as a phone.

Well, given that in the US, we're stuck w/ a phone+carrier, unlike Europe, I think it's fair if he reviews both as one. After all, it's the carrier who makes the phone available. They're the ones who want this model, so they can deal with the associations made. I mean, the customers would prefer the whole nation was on the same style of network and could just purchase a phone and choose the carrier based on service.

I know man this happened to me too but as you already know wireless companies are thieves and there is nothing we can do about it. att gives you the same deal for iphone.

This isn't an Omnia review, Verizon is the one who makes you get the data service. Talk about the phone not the carrier. BUT, Verizon is the most reliable service around-the "have to" data for blackberry's and smartphones suck though.

On that part I'd agree with you, on the rest I don't. Their network reliability & general customer services is much better than say, AT & T.

if there is nothing wrong with the device why did you give it such a horrible score. I understand you want to cut costs but dont review the negatively because you dont want to pay the extra money. Review the product not service!
