"Another bad Samsung phone"
onPros Same user interface as earlier Samsung phones makes it easier to learn how to use the phone, camera with flash.
Cons Digital only, people say I sound muffled or in a fog when speaking with them, the keypad is too scrunched together making dialing by touch a pain...Samsung hasn't made a decent phone since the 8500 for Sprint, and I would rather have that phone than this

"I am not able to like any other phone"
onPros I think this is the only phone with a colour display even in the top. You can set pictures to your contacts and you see those pictures in the small screen when they call. I recive calls almost only from my husband and I see his picture in that everytime s
Cons Handle it carefully. I dropped it twice or thrice and could sustain but finally one it fell in my soup cup:( and it died immediately. I feel very sad. I bought it for $120 with two years contact but I never felt that it was not worth that(even though it w

"Voice becomes inaudible"
onPros Looks nice.
Cons It worked for a month, just long enough to get beyond the return date for Verizon. Now, during most calls (after a few minutes) I'm inaudible to them. I can hear them fine, but it makes for a lousy conversation. Since Verizon's policy is to replace your

"not as good as it looks"
on by nicole dovePros nice design. bright screen. good picture quality.
Cons staticy reception at times. no analog roaming. no speakerphone. verizon wireless logo constantly flashing on screen- grrrr.
Summary its an ok phone but it randomly would have staticy reception for no rhyme or reason. and the fact that it is digital and not tri-mode really makes a difference in my area. i live in suburban MA bordering on some rural areas. my friend lives in NYC and loves her samsung- so take this into account- ecspecially if you travel. you would have to reset it in new areas unlike a tri-mode phone i have heard. but i know first hand it has poor call quality in my area.
.
the pics are nice for a phone. i really wish it had a speakerphone so i could be hands free in the car. i ended up switching it with a motorolla 265 which works so well it further prooves that my experience with the a670 WAS the phone and not verizon. -
"7 years later and it's still running"
on by davidgillon_dotmacPros This phone never dies. It's been in constant use for all these years and it's still going. I have no complaints at all. Amazing. I am retiring this workhorse to get an iPhone. Thanks Samsung.
Cons It took a long time but the paint has worn off around the corners of the device. Of course, that's because it's gotten so much use. In 2004 this was probably an advanced phone but by today's standards it is pretty basic.
Summary I proudly used my worn out, scuffed up old phone because I decided to use it until it stopped working. It never did. But I couldn't resist getting an iPhone 4S and the Samsung is going into retirement. Goodbye Samsung A670. You served me well.
