  • "Not bad overall, but..."

    Pros Cute small size

Cons Samsung's strange and bulky menu navigation

Summary My biggest problem with this phone is the same problem I've had with all Samsung phones... their clunky and difficult to navigate menus, even just to send a text message makes you push all sorts of different buttons, I can't explain it exactly, but it's just weird and you end up thinking you sent a message when really all you did was save it in your drafts...
This phone is also a deep thinker, meaning whenever you send a message, try to use the camera feature, the phone spends a good deal of time thinking and you're stuck with a lovely load screen for what seems like an eternity, and thanx to the horrible navigation you're constantly accidentally exiting out of programs...
Also once you receive a picture message and you decide to save the picture, it disappears into some unknown folder never to be found again, until you go to assign your photo id and so far that is the only way to view your saved pictures... strange right? nah.. it's just classic Samsung styling and design through and through
But the call quality and small size make up for most of the bad menus...
If all your going to do is talk, in my opinion this is the best verizon phone for you, if you like to take pictures and send text messages... STAY AWAY

  • "This is the best cellphone I've had, and I've had several!!!"
    on by SamsungFan_05

Pros The call quality is superb, the phone feels durable, it has an extendable intenna, the ringers are loud, great camera, voice dial feature is great.

Cons None that I can think of.

Summary This phone is great. The call quality is the best thing about it. People on the other end usually tell me that they they couldn't tell that I was on a cellphone. And the earpiece volume adjust automatically. The voice dial is great mainly because I didn't have to train it to my voice. The phonebook hold a great deal of names and numbers, and you can have multiple numbers for a name. If you have a picture of a person, it will display on the exterior screen when that person calls you. The phone also has a video feature. I've had this phone for a month now and I've yet to have a dropped call. Great phone. Well done Samsung and Verizon!!!

  • "Think Straight! This is a great phone"
    on by allen cadwallader

    Pros call quality and portability

    Cons nothing I can find

Summary I wish people and manufacturuers would think straight and realize that a cell phone is just a phone, not a camera, not a radio, not a MP3 player, not a calendar, etc. People should also realize the distinction betwee reception and call quality. Reception has to do with the company and where the caller is located. Call quatliy has to do with the phone. Further, the standard by which any cell phone should be compared is a land line; and by those standards the Samsung is perfect. It is very clear, and very compact; people (including me) don't know I am on a cell. The only companies that consistently gets these kinds of reviews are LG and Samsung. The 670 is a metal, compact, study phone that sounds like a land line. What more can be said?

  • "gotta luv this phone"
    on by becks73

Pros small, doesn't drop calls, good reception, long battery standby life, quick charging, good pictures, pretty durable (I've dropped it a few times), you don't need a PhD to operate it

Cons memory size isn't large...but then again this isn't a computer

Summary I absolutely love this phone. I've had it since mid January of this year and have not had one problem with it. I've never been too savvy with little gadgets or organizers, but this phone was so easy to work with. So simple my dog could work it. You don't even need to look in the manual to figure out how to customize it. It's that easy. We had a power outtage in our neighborhood in March and I found an alarm clock function on this phone, easily set it and woke up with a loud ringer of my choice the next morning! I have been able to take some really good pics with the camera function also. It has an extra loud ringer, so you can still hear your phone even when it's buried at the bottom of your purse. Best of all, it's very durable for clutzes like me who drop things. Would recommend it for the casual talker and also the busy on the go type. Luv it!

  • "Looks cool. Poor sound quality."
    on by sproketz

Pros Great displays and features. Great compact size.

Cons Sound quality or reception not great. Some features are cumbersome to navigate to.

Summary I recently replaced my Motorola V70 with this Samsung, and have found that the sound quality (or reception?) isn't as good. When talking from the same locations (my house, my commute route, work, etc), it seems like the call is getting broken up, even though the phone displays 3 or more signal 'bars'.
