  • "Very decent, basic phone for what I paid for."

Pros: Small: Fits in a small wristlet/clutch purse. Caller groups option. Texting was all right. Excellent battery life. Nice color.

Cons: Camera easily activated, has an obnoxious sound and likes to take pictures of inside your bags, purses, pockets, etc. Sometimes gets lost because of its small size though.

Summary: Back in 2009, I remember getting this phone at a flea market because my previous one had just crapped out. I wanted a phone with a caller ID and group ringtones screen since my previous one lacked this. Over all I was very impressed with this phone. I remember it being very compact and I never had to worry about having a big brick of a phone taking up my bag space. Used to get lots of comments about how little it was and it did not look like a real phone, etc. I could also use a friend's samsung charger at the time since this phone was compatible with a few other samsung phone chargers. However I found I rarely had to charge this thing more than once a week. I was sad when I had to replace this because careless me accidentally got overzealous and dropped it on tile and cracked the screens. I wasn't too bothered by the texting since I only used this for phone calls. My only complaint about it is that there was no way to disable the camera. So occasionally whenever I needed to make a call, I would find the camera running and later find out that it had taken about 40 pictures of the pitch dark surroundings of my bag or pocket. It also would make a loud sound whenever you zoomed in or out.
Overall, don't let negative reviews discourage you if you can get a hold of this phone. I'd recommend it as a basic phone for teenagers just starting to get in the swing of using phones in their social lives (and you don't want them going crazy downloading ringtones and apps and running your bill up) or as a good phone for older folks who don't care for all the fancy doo-dads and just want something to keep in touch with family.
