"Will be the perfect PDA/phone with these improvements..." on
Pros: Great size, nice and bright, but wouldn't suffer to be a hair bigger to accomodate a slightly larger screen. This would still keep it smaller than the Treo, and would still be small enough that no one would complain. It's a flip--thank you! Doesn't have
Cons: It's not using the latest Palm OS version, but it should. It doesn't have an expansion slot, but it definitely should! If the device is made just a little bigger as I mentioned, I believe it could accomodate an expansion slot. If this is not an option, th

"Combines essential features in small package for $150." on by btr
Pros: Nice combination of Palm OS and cellular phone in shirt sized package. Final cost was $150 from Sprint after $150 rebate for signing a two year agreement.
Cons: Finicky setup on XP based computer. Make sure you download the latest USB driver from Samsung (http://www.samsungtelecom.co m/drivers/i500_dqa133456.htm), prior to plugging in your USB cradle.
Summary: Overall, excellent value for $150.

"All the functions but one" on
Pros: great phone, everything i ever needed: address, phone number, date, and web funciton. Don't understand why people are upseting over things like "speakerphone" ever heard a ear piece? "Camera" explain why do u need a camera on a phone, and beside, which p

"Still Great" on by Solo500
Pros: It's small, it's elegant functionally and it's great as a phone.
Cons: Battery life is not as good as it could be. Text messaging is crippled.
Summary: Even after being discontinued by Sprint/Samsung years ago this phone is better than the candybar smartphones that followed. The Palm OS is elegant in its simplicity and the phone function is better than holding a wallet sized iPhone to your head.
Hopefully someone will design a small and versatile smartphone to succeed this one. But it still wins. -
"Good device - lacking some features" on by kiposays
Pros: Aesthetically it's very appealing. Great functionality and easy to setup with my Outlook client. Vivid displays make using the device enjoyable.
Cons: No built in Wi-Fi. No Blue Tooth. No Expansion slot. No Speakerphone.
Summary: This my first hybrid phone/pda. I love it so far. Wish it weren't so expensive ($300 final cost). Or for that amount of money wish it had some of the functionality I mentioned in the 'cons' section.
There are also some other issues I have with it such as not being able to sort my address book by first, last name. Only option seems to be Last Name, First Name and Company, Last Name. Also lacks standard alarm clock. Although I guess I could schedule a wake up call on the Calendar. Just minor user preferences. All in all, a solid phone thus far.
