Summary: When I first heard the hype of the brand new "Galaxy S" devices, I was in a state of complete anxiousness- itching for my two year subscription to be up so I could get my hands on one. Well- my subscription was available for an upgrade a month after this "revolutionary device" launched off the shelves. At the time, the processor and everything about the phone worked perfectly.
After a few months of pristine care and love, I began to notice lag and disruptions with every click I made. I told myself it was simply that the battery needed to be taken out, or the phone needed to rest (turned off for a little while.) But no, the lag began to become a major issue. With a replacement, everything worked perfectly, until after a couple of months, the problem became apparent again.
Lag becomes an issue with internet pages, loading the camera album gallery, accessing multiple apps (such as facebook, shazam, and GoogleEarth- to name a few.) Freezing is now an everyday occurrence, and the only thing about this phone I can say works functionally is the calling/receiving calls. The hummingbird processor is a joke, and can't compare to the 1GHz snapdragon whatsoever. It is especially obsolete with the new dual cores out there as well.
The phone is undoubtedly a looker- one for the eyes. However, Samsung is an unreliable product manufacturer and with experience of past phones, I told myself never again. This time I really mean it, folks- definitely stay away from this one for sure. When is my contract over?? :(
