  • "FX plus could have been great, but isn't"
    on by icetre4

Pros Android phone with a nice physical qwerty keyboard. Appears to be fairly durable.

Cons This phone is so slow and unresponsive!

Summary I bought this phone after the screen went out on my MyTouch 3G Slide. I liked the price for a brand new unlocked one I found on ebay. I compared it to my old phone with geekaphone.com and it was very comparable. It has a 600mhz processor, just like my MyTouch 3G Slide, but this phone is so much slower. Sometimes I get texts but the phone will not "wake-up" for several seconds after pushing the button or trying to unlock the phone with the touchscreen. Sometimes I have to touch the screen several times before it will actually change screens (but phone vibrates every time). Seems like it has the hardware to be a nice phone but it lags big time. I mean, it has gotten me by until I qualify for an upgrade, but it's agonizing to wait on it all the time.

  • "The funky and dashing new sharp fx plus is amazing!"
    on by MoStNeR7

Pros The funky and dashing new sharp fx plus is greatly attractive to most text-friendly users.

Cons This is a new competitor with other android phones, and is definitely better than the original Sharp FX because of a not-so-laggy screen.
