"good phone with major kickbacks"
Pros: Slim, good camera
Cons: very poor battery life, gets stuck very often
Summary: Sony has disappointed its consumer's with its P1i. The phone did not satisfy its expectation. Very bad battery back up.Max for a day the battery dies. The server is too slow and the phone gets stuck very often, had to remove the battery and then restart the phone. This resembles the same problem with the Nokia N series.
We cannot change the radio FM stations on the go. We had to login each and every time to FM radio and select stations, incorgible.
No carry case available for this exclusive with any sony outlets.

I have not experienced any trouble when it comes to battery life on this phone, it lasts well over a day, and that includes browsing the net a lot, texting a lot, and playing games. It is a smart phone, and not to mention a touchscreen, so it is expected that the battery will not last 2 or 3 days like a regular phone, at least it's better than the Moto Q or Q9m when it comes to battery life.
What do you mean by the sever being slow? If you mean the Internet option on it, that's your carrier that's to blame. THe phone does support 3G, for those that use Cingular. -
what's with the battery life? i've listened to 2 hours of music, watched a 2 hours;30 minute movie on the phone, talk for 40 so minutes, played quadro game for 30 minutes, and also used the light on the camera as a flashlight, and the phone still lasted my whole day, and i still had 34% battery life left, ALSO they include a pouch to carry the phone, and the pouch is working very well, i havent have a scratch on my p1i, and i got the p1i a month ago. Also forgot to mention, i texted 150 text msgs a day, and battery life is good.
