Pros: camera good for still life

Cons: the only thing good is the camera but its so slow to load that whatever you wanted a shot of is gone by the time its ready. takes ages to change modes, to do anything really. slow to open messages, awkward internet browser, GPS wont work.

Summary: i was a big sony ericsson fan but this was a huge disappointment. quite angry and frustrated that i spent money on it.

I have a SE w810i, which I like a LOT, though it is 3 years old. That said, I've ALWAYS hated the non-standard connectors Sony uses. I'm nearly certain my next phone will have some USB connector and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. I'm NOT doing this again. Travel without the proprietary gear, at least in the US, and you're in for either a game of "search" to buy a replacement, or you find the accessories at a ridiculous price. And don't get me started on having to use the stupid Memory Stick, when everyone else uses SDHC or SDHC mini.

    Consider yourselves warned!

I've just purchased this massive phone, coming from a palm pre from sprint. The phone is not intuitive, gps never loads, and is very expensive. I can't believe that I'll be missing my pre... very dissapointed
