    "Security high risk"

    on September 29, 2008

    Pros: Easy to use

Cons: After our security staff reviewed Android, we have recomended to
our clients that this product has significant potential to security, privacy,
    and therefore IDtheft exposier.

Summary: As stated, to my organizations security staff, this Android OS has many significant
security holes, extensive potential for privacy and IDtheft. To use Android is
asking for huge financial and personal information propagation that could and
is likely to cause very problemsum if not devistating ramifications.

Let me guess you work for who Verizon? or is it At&T another tactic to undermine T-Mobile? Come on people if your going to write a review try it before you talk..... I own the phone it may not be the best but it's close....

considering your grammar and spelling mistakes, which are numerous, I have a hard time believing you are employed at all.
But considering that security companies make their living off of scaring people, it's not surprising your company found "holes".
It's based on Linux. Linux-attacking malware makes up less than 1% of the threats in existence, partially because it's built better than mac or pc operating systems.
Newsflash -- common sense is the best defense. As an alleged employee of a security company, you should know the largest threat to the security of any system is the end user, not the software.

Judging on the count that you can't spell exposure, you fail. Also, Android uses linux, one of the most kernel-safe OS's out there. Any security update can be easily patched, and by you working for a security company and having them not tell you any security hole can be easily patched, is no security staff at all. Good Day

Actually it is quite the contrary, Android was built with security in mind.

But it is obvious that you never even used Android, judging by the date you submitted this review.

I have to call iphone fanboy on this one. If there actually were security concerns with Android it would be on reputable sites, not a random review on CNET.

You honeslty think a company such as GOOGLE would ruin their reputation over security risks? Time to re-think that thinking. #1 respected company to go under because of security issues, hehe. Try again
