"I'm not excited, just shocked at the T-Mobile deal"
Pros: This is a phone with potential, but for many of us only after it also works with Verizon and AT&T.
Cons: The review makes the phone sound much clumsier than my iPhone, with the only small Android advantage being the higher res camera. Availability only on T-Mobile is a negative surprise.
Summary: Not a bad phone, but inferior to the iPhone. And I'm very surprised at the T-Mobile link and disappointed in Google for having just this one relationship with a carrier. I'd never, never buy from T-Mobile, no matter how good their network is. Most people don't know that T-Mobile is Deutsche Telekom, which caused untold misery for many U.S. telecom companies trying to do business in Germany during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990. What they did to maintain their monopolistic position in the German markets is unforgivable. They hurt a lot of U.S. companies while helping themselves and their German friends.

This is like saying you wouldn't buy a Volkswagen because they were founded by Hitler over 60 years ago. What does any of that have to do with the functionality or usability of the phone itself?

Who cares what happened in with telecom companies in Germany 20 years ago!! Stop getting all your "facts" from wikipedia.
