Pros: Now has video support (upload to youtube), stereo bluetooth, access to all google apps, gps is fast after the new update, photos look good after new update. The whole operating system is great, and phone quality is excellent

Cons: Low internal memory (75mb) and still no way of copying files to sd card, unless you jailbreak the phone. Still can't send files through bluetooth . Stock battery is weak (but is replaceable with more powerfull one. No 3.5 mm headphone jack

Summary: With the new version 1.5 software of the phone a lot of the shortcommings have been addressed. The OS is great and the 3rd party apps list is growing everyday. Now the phone has video recording (with no time limit) which you can upload to youtube easily through the phones native youtube app. Stereo bluetooth is finally here for those who were asking for it. On-screen keyboard has been added. Email application is much improved, web surfing is much faster thanx to the new java update. Addition of widget support makes the phone much better. 3g is blazing fast. GPS is fast now and better accuracy. Copy and paste within the browser!!!! Find words within browser.

Some complaints. Internal memory is low, and tmobile has not yet addressed this by letting us store apps on sd card. I'm guessing it's a security issue and hopefully will be made available in the next update. Battery that comes with the g1 is a little on the weak side, but it is replaceable and you can get a much more powerfull battery (I myself got the 2600 mah and my battery lasts all day with regular use). Can't send/receive files through bluetooth yes, but you can through wifi, through 3rd party apps on the market. No 3.5 mm headphone jack, but the phone comes with an adaptor, so it's not a huge issue. Plus it has stereo bluetooth support, so it's even less of an issue.

I have used this phone since Dec and I am glad that I have purchased the phone. All the issues I have are very minor and don't interfere with my love for this phone. The android OS is still new, but I think it's made a lot of leaps and bounds for an operating system that's been out for only 7 months.
