"I can not believe CNET and its Biased Review!"

by BoodieN on February 10, 2009

    Pros: Keyboard
    Wifi
    OS platform
    Screen resolution

Cons: there are bugs and the phone needs to be updated, but because it has an open source platform the android, all bugs will be taken care of, and the phone will continue to grow and expand! not like any other phone.

Summary: After years of using CNET and its review and opinions,i finally made an account. and the only reason i made the account was the VENT OUT AGAINST CNET AND THEIR BIASED REVIEW!..i can not believe this is even a review of a phone. they had a bad comment about the phone on everything they can get their hands on. "the touch screen is great,,but doesn't have multi touch so we cant zoom in pictures". THE PHONE CAN BE UPDATED BY DEVELOPERS. that means you do not need to go buy a new phone like from the iphone to the iphone 3g. The G1 will keep growing and growing. when a new phone that is using the android system comes out, the only change would be the looks and physical features, no software change because you can do that already on the G1. Not to mention an article just came out on yahoo news explaining that APPLE asked GOOGLE not to put mutli-touch on the g1. Hard to believe? well Eric shzatwatc (or however u spell his name, the Google CEO) is one of the Apple board of directory. Any how, i will never use CNET for help again. G1 will become the great phone that it is.

I completely agree with you. Cnet was looking to give the G1 a bad review before they even took it out of the box. They compared it completely to the Iphone when it was still very new and all of it's capablitlies were not finished and now it is the same asthe Iphone in my opinion but the Iphone STILL dont have picture mail. I dont understand how you point little stupid fults with one and completely ignore the fact that the other one is STILL missing a function!

I agree with what you're saying and I think it's unfair the way they constantly compare the G1 to the iPhone. What CNET fails to mention during their bad-mouthing is that Apple threatened to sue if the multi-touch was added to this phone and Google has too much to lose if they **** off Apple. Stop bad-mouthing the phone and start bad-mouthing the twits that are ultimately responsible for what the phone does and doesn't have - Apple and their childish ways.
