"Not the most powerful phone but easily the best"
Pros: Good mobile data support, decent phone function
Cons: Can occasionally chug
Summary: I'm a bit of a gadget guy. I've owned dozens of phone/pda devices. As I say in my summary this isn?t the most power device I?ve ever had (my ?old? p910 crushes it) but its easily the most functional and usable device I?ve ever encountered. With a couple of accessories (notably the Think Outside Bluetooth keyboard) I can do about 85% of what I used to need my laptop for which means most of the time I travel I don?t even take my laptop now and for a guy who is on the road to the tune of 125k miles a year that?s a huge burden removed especially for day trips.
I can do my expense reports (using expense plus), prepare RFI responses and/or sales quotes, check my mail in very near real time, do wifi and hotspot support with the click of a button. The camera is fairly crappy in my opinion but that?s a wash since I?d never use it anyway. If you are a mobile professional you?ll find this to be easily the most useful device on the market.
The reason its not a 10 of 10 are the onboard slide out keyboard is less than useful for me (but that?s offset by my proficiency with the block recognizer). Its slow to start from off, and it can occasionally chug if you are not mindful to close your open windows.
