"Great looking, intuitive, and Android is excellent!"5.0 starson by dnyyanks62
Pros: Size, customizable interface, fantastic screen, smooth response to touch (most of the time), Google integration, thousands of applications, Android is new and a lot of fun to use, trackball is useful certain times and very streamlined device.
Cons: Volume is a little low, no 3.5 mm headphone jack (don't care too much though), onscreen keyboard is tricky to use sometimes, battery life not as long as I expected.
Summary: The myTouch 3G is an extremely good-looking device and the streamlined design makes it simple to use. The hardware buttons on the front do not detract from the design at all and operate very well with the device. The trackball works like a charm and helps out a lot in tight situations where using your finger is difficult.
The screen is beautiful. No other way to put it. It's very responsive most of the time, but I suspect it may be even better when I take the protector off. The volume on the phone is not as loud as I would have liked, but my hearing isn't that great anyway. The indicator light on top is useful as well.
The notifications bar is fantastic and one of my favorite parts of the Android platform so far. The home screen is very customizable and with careful procedures, you can do just about anything you want with the OS. The keyboard is very good, but definitely takes some getting used to, especially for those familiar with using physical keyboards. Of course, Android opens up many possibilities to alternate keyboards you can choose from.
Google integration is amazing and all my Gmail contacts are brought it immediately. Although the 3G service at my home is awful, the times I have gotten to use it have been very fast and smooth. There are thousands of applications to choose from too. Lots more about the phone but I gotta run, shoot me an email if you have a question!
