Pros -Excellent Camera (very fast, does well in low light)
-Solid Hardware Controls (keyboard is well built, shutter button is great!)
-Top-Notch Build Quality
-Good Specs ( dual core, 768 mb of ram)
-Decent Battery Life
Cons -I would have liked to see the power button and the headphone jack switched, but this is a minor gripe.
-I wish the Genius button could be set to behave like a normal search button (quick press for regular search, long press for voice commands)
Summary I'd been looking for a keyboard phone with a hardware shutter button for the camera, but unfortunately most of them are very old phones with lower specs. This phone was exactly what I was looking for. The optical pad was a little weird at first, but now that I'm used to it I actually prefer it to directional buttons.
I've used just about every high-end phone that's out there, and I have to say that this one is my favorite so far. I'm very partial to phones with physical keyboards though. The keyboard itself isn't quite as good as the Droid 3/4, but it's still quite good once you adjust to it. I like hardware controls: I like being able to use a phone without looking at it. I don't want to have to fumble around to get my camera ready. This phone is everything I want in a phone.
If you're looking for an Android phone with a great camera, look no further.
The worst thing about this phone is that it's only on one carrier (fortunately for me, T-Mobile has great reception where I live and work).
Pros Smooth running Dual Core Processor, Hands down the best Camera on a Smart Phone. And solid Build as HTC is know for
Cons No HDMI Output
Summary Great Phone, fast, solid, and made with quality. Not light and cheap like many of the phones out there today. Blows away the IPHONE 4 in the browsing speed and Picture quality. Awesome replacement. The phone is clear and also having the NETflix APP preinstalled a plus. Overall one of the best phones out there. Some might not like having the slide out Keyboard, but I consider it a plus on any cell phone. If you don't care for it then go with the Amaze 4G, basically the same phone with out it.
Pros Snapdragon dual core processor
Amazing camera hardware/software combo
Feels well built and sturdy
Super smooth interface
Cons Display could be higher resolution
UI missing some needed sense elements like customizable lockscreen
Current lack of development support in custom ROMs and kernel source
Summary For the most part it's a beautiful phone and everything works flawlessly; I like what HTC/T-Mobile did with the custom firmware and mySense UI but there are some Sense elements missing like the customizable lockscreen and some extended taskbar options. The camera is brilliant and works flawlessly. Video recording is up to par as well. My previous phone was the myTouch 4G and this is a noticeable improvement. There is so much potential with this device and I can't wait to see what happens!
Pros htc's tech support is awesome, fixed my hpone both times that it has broken
Cons received with a faulty antenna which was fixed and shipped the same day, second problem was the screen stopped working within a week and a half of the antenna being fixed
Summary htc customer support +1
the device itself 0
if you are one of the lucky ones and have had this phone without it breaking, kudos
