  • "Great phone if you want a keyboard"
    on by fried_calamari

Pros The camera is great, the different modes work really well and are useful. I love taking panoramas. The screen is bright, although it's not as spacious, nor are the images as defined as on say, the Sensation. It's super fast- I've never seen it bog or

Cons The battery life isn't great. That screen uses a ton of power and the battery won't last the day in moderate to heavy use. It's big, but coming from a Touch Pro 2 I found it markedly less obtrusive in my pocket. Keys are pretty flat. Not really a comp

Summary Imperfect, but a great keyboard phone that's powerful enough to satisfy all but the most diehard, bleeding-edge types.

  • "Good camera phone, but has glitches."
    on by iamshlomo

Pros The keyboard is easy to use, nice feature, but don't need it if you have Swype keyboard. Camera is good and very easy to use. Sense 3.0 is nice, but conflicts with Android Gingerbread 2.3.4.

Cons Battery drains within a couple hours need chargers handy. Cannot run GPS, Data, etc. all the time, needs to be turned off. Keeps going to camera when doing other things. Overheats very fast and gets to hot to handle. Needs at least 1g of memory and not a

Summary Stay away from this phone it overheats and is very buggy.

  • "great phone, had a BB, for 7 years. switched to this,"
    on by joshualedbetter86

Pros great *** camera, easy to navigate, cool apps, the fact it has a key board.

Cons need grips so it doesn't slide out your hand, needs a symbol key for what all the symbols mean., more cases to choose from.

Summary all in all.... very very satisfied with my purchase

  • "Awesome, but wants to "Slide" right out of your hand."
    on by taylanator

Pros Great camera, my friend and I did a direct comparison to the iPhone 4 camera and this camera is just about on par with two exceptions, 1. Indoor pics weren't quite as good as the iPhone 4 with regards to sharpness and color tone, but 2. it has WAY more ca

Cons The weight of the phone combined with smooth surfaces kind of makes this phone want to "slide" right out of your hand when using it for a prolonged period. I would have liked to have seen a more grippy surface somewhere on the phone. I've also noticed tha

Summary Nice phone, great features, powerful processor, good keyboard, awesome camera overall. I would recommend this phone to anyone, especially those who can't stand crappy on-screen keyboards :)

  • "Not worth the $!"
    on by sarafina022

Pros Camera is good, best I have had on a cell.

Cons Keyboard buttons are hard to use, durability SUCKS! Call quality is terrible. I have to have a bluetooth on or the person I call cannot hear me. Battery life is not at all what it could be.

Summary This phone has potential to be good. It is fast enough, has a nice sized screen etc. But when it comes down to the nuts and bolts of it, it is not worth the $. The battery life is not what they claimed it would be even with all my apps turned off. Also, I have never had a phone break on me as fast as this one did. I have owned it 7 months and already I have to get a new one, my screen doesn't turn on any more and I didn't do anything to it. I would understand if it was like my old phone that I dropped face first on the cement and then the screen broke, but this one had the screen go out in the middle of a text message to my boss... BAD TIMING! I like slide out keyboards but if HTC wants to make them, they need to make them stand up to normal use. I text more than a lot of adults do because of my job but I am certain I do not text nearly as much as a teenager does and we really need to have things stand up to users of all types, not just the occasional caller or texter. I would not buy this phone again or recommend it to anyone else. I have owned multiple HTC products in the past and always liked them. The G-1 was my favorite phone of all time, it stood up to anything.
