"no battery life at all"
Pros: beautiful design and interface
Cons: battery life
Summary: I loved using this phone, but had to charge it constantly. T-Mobile offered to send me a free backup battery, but really, it's a wireless device. I need the thing to work when I'm on trip away from an outlet. I reluctantly swaped it for the more utiliarian Curve, which I am learning to love, despite the annoying candy bar style (I hate having to lock the keyboard to avoid making accidental calls), but I wish the manufacturer would fix the flawed battery issue.

I have the same problem. I tested it overnight where I fully charged it from the wall and let it sit for 7 hrs with a good signal. It was down to 2 bars. I called t-mobile. Apparently, it is a known problem but they couldn't replace the battery b/c warranty is for 3 months and I had mine for 4. I had to call the mfg (HTC 888-716-3594) to replace the battery. Their warranty is 1 yr but you have to pay for the battery first. You then send the battery back and they reimburse once they receive it.
I am so mad that I have this phone now. I love the features on the phone but it seems I will have to deal with this battery issue for another 1-1/2 until I can upgrade again. Not happy! -
EVER! mine lasts from 8 in the morning to 11 at night... with plenty of battery left.

I thought it was just my phone. I carry my charger around everywhere and it is starting to annoy the crap out of me. How is it having the back up battery?

Batteries become broken if you charge them incorrectly the first time, I broke one of my batteries that way. Of course there may have been a problem with the battery from the start, just saying.
