    "Not bad but needs upgrades"

by CherryLaneStation on March 26, 2008

Pros: Sleek design and Windows Mobile works great

Cons: Some strange things that should be fixed

Summary: I do like this phone but there are some things I would want to warn users about it: First of all I have to replace it already because the Enter key broke off (?!?) I never had that happen with a phone before and it wasn't from dropping or overuse as this phone is pretty new and I'm not a texter :) But it broke off. Also the battery life is dismal. But one of the goofiest things is that there is no headphone slot -- just the one port for headphone (so you have to use their ear buds which I hate) that is also for charging and syncing. That is very annoying. I wonder if they sell a headphone adapter? Anyway, other than that it has good sound quality and images. I don't like the camera, but for quick little pics here and there that you don't need for a quality album, it's fine (though I can never figure out how to zoom). The rotary mouse is worthless (just because the ipod and iphone have it doesn't mean it was a good idea), so I just click. And every once in a while mine will just freeze and I have to remove the battery in order to get it to do anything again. So there are some quirks, as I said. And some sort of cover would be nice. I hate seeing skin oils on that smooth surface all the time. I am constantly cleaning it off. Ick.
    Updated
I have had many different kinds of cell phones for many years. This is the FIRST TIME I have ever been told that mine makes "pocket calls". I have it set up to lock and to protect against pocket calls, but it still does it. I don't know why cell phone manufacturers put so many buttons on the outside of the phone, especially buttons that can lead to calls!! I only remembered this because I just heard someone saying "hello? hello?" from my purse to find that my phone had called a customer. It happens to my husband a lot, too. A bit embarrassing. Hopefully they will fix these things and come out with a new one because I do like this phone for the most part, but you would think that these elementary problems would have been taken into account.
