"Great Deal"on by SideKick2Rox
Pros Camara , speakerphone, the keybord is great, A.I.M., A.O.L
Cons internet kind of slow and the camara is blury, there might as well not be flash it hardly works
Summary i love this phone even if there was some better phone than this one!!! i recamend it so much and i think the people that say its bad were given a used cellphone.
Pros Fun device to use, great keyboard and some other great features
Cons Screen could be more high res. no wallpaper . And no bluetooth
Summary This is easy to use. It has a great keyboard. The browser is nice and in some areas, it can be fast like dsl. The IM clients ar brilliant. You get your own email account. I don't like that there isn't any wallpaper. Lack of bluetooth is weak too. It's a cool product, the III comes out soon, so that will be much better
Pros unlimited internet, texting, and email, UNBELIVEABLE multitasking capibilities
Cons no blue tooth, joke of a camera
Summary This phone has provided everything it promised to provide. I multitask like crazy, switching between email to web, to aim, to phone calls. I am a 22 year old woman-on-the-go, so for me this is perfect. I can check email from work while I am at the bar, I can text my friends while I am at work and I am always signed onto aim.
I update my husbands website while we are in the car and I can even snap quick pictures in a pinch if I forgot my digital camera.
I found it very simple to learn how to use and I don't know how I lived without it.
The first day I got it, the web browser was impossibly slow! But after that, suddenly pages loaded within seconds. Give your account some time to work into the system!
I'm using my sidekick right now to type this!
I read everything I could find online before I bought mine, I hope this review helps someone else decide!
Pros Email, instant messaging are great
Cons Web is slow. No bluetooth, No Wi-Fi. Clumsy to dial numbers, especially if not in address book
Summary One thing you must know, especially if you travel overseas. All information on this device is stored on T-Mobile's server, nothing is stored on the phone or sim card. If for some reason you do not have GPRS and the battery dies, you will not have access to your information until you have GPRS coverage again. You can still use the phone, but WILL NOT have any information. It is O.K. to turn the phone off and still retain all your information, just don't let the battery die. Now if your overseas, you are charged for GPRS roaming, so if your phone dies or if you turn the wireless part of your phone off and than turn it back on again, you will be charged per megabite when it downloads your information. This is ONLY for emails and text messages that are saved on the sidekick.
Pros E-mail, 24-7 AIM, great text messaging keyboard, camera is very decent!
Cons Phone is big, no Bluetooth capability, difficult to hear when talking on the phone.
Summary The Sidekick II is great for particularly a high school or college student who can not stop texting or using AIM when at home on their computer. This phone makes it very easy to get addicted to texting or always staying being accessible to AIM. Currently as a college student always being on AIM helps me to be in contact with almost everyone 24-7. Also the package that they allow you to buy for unlimited text and unlimited online ability for only $20 a month is great. This particular phone also has a good quality camera that has a flash feature that allows you to take pictures at night. Although this phone is pretty bulky it does not make it at all a problem to use when speaking with it.
