Pros

Easy to create room dimensions

Cons

3 revisions behind Windows-based counterpart, limited libraries of objects but yet some objects in the libraries are puzzling/worthless, and you can only change the length and width of objects but not their heights or orientations.

This software is relatively easy to use. That's about the only Pro I can think of. However, one reason it is easy to use is that it is extremely limited in functionality. Below are my specific issues.

When adding objects to a room (sofa, TV, tables, chairs, etc...) you can only adjust their lengths and widths but not their heights. Therefore, if you want to change your 6-foot tall shelf to your own design, too bad! I tried to insert a night stand and lamp, only to find the lamp "hovered" over the night stand. It was clearly meant to sit on a full-height table.

Also, there appear to be many objects I would have found useful not included yet there are also many questionably included items. Metal fish and cat wall sculpture? Included! Flat panel TV? Too bad, not to be found!

Also, the 3-D walkthrough/fly through mode was tricky. On my dual-core Pentium Macbook, I had to "slow" the animation otherwise I'd scroll right out of my design! Also, you could not move the viewfinder from above without jumping directly into the 3-D view. This means you have to "walk" through your entire design to get where you want the new view to be.

At under $40, I guess this software is exactly what you are paying for. And there do not appear to be any Mac upgrades coming anytime soon.
