"Well, improved, stabilized, memory consuming" on by akbisw

Pros: Gets jobs done, love the new tools, shapes, and 3d editing, that flow thingi, and the interface is kinda bulky, but i think im gonna stick with cs3 till theres a major update

Cons: eats up my memory like hell and so far my trial is ending and i see no reason to buy it

Summary: Try first before buying it, its a pricey software and i think its not ready yet, well, its ready, but, unless you arent charmed with those fancy new stuffs, stick with cs3, lastly go windows 7

well, to architect student and schools, its a great tool, and its really awesome, but try before buying, thats what they called it "Buyers Beware"

"No Support for Older Versions" on by gspan102

Pros: Good product while it stays on your computer

Cons: IF your computer crashes, or you decide to switch PC/MAC'S they will not have support for you to redownload your product.

Summary: Sample of my support response:

Thank you for choosing Adobe. A representative will be with you shortly. Your estimated wait time is 0 minute(s) and 13 second(s) or longer as there are 1 customer(s) in line ahead of you.

You are now chatting with Mukesh.

    Greg: Hello

Mukesh: Hello! Welcome to Adobe Customer Service.

Mukesh: Please allow me a moment to review your request.

    Mukesh: Hi Greg.

Mukesh: Could you please brief about the issue?

Greg: Mukesh, I was told by support that you no longer support a prior vesion of photoshop, Which I understand, but Honestly, having spent over $400 on this key and have my computer crash I would just simply like to reinstall it

    Greg: version CS3

Mukesh: I understand that you want to install the software and activate it, is that correct?

    Greg: correct

Greg: I still have my key, which is registered to me and no one else

Greg: the problem is finding a way to download cs3

Mukesh: Thank you for waiting. One moment please.

Mukesh: Greg, I understand your situation, But I very sorry that we have no link or Disc for the CS3 anymore as it is a very old version.

Mukesh: May I know how you installed the software initially?

Mukesh: Was it from a disc or a download link?

Greg: Very Old...what 08/09' is very old

    Greg: from both

Greg: And honestly, it's completly unfair not to be able to redownload the product having paid for it.

Mukesh: In that case you will still have the download link in your Adobe account.

Mukesh: Please login and check under the "Order History".

Greg: Well how come I cant see it

Mukesh: How was your order delivered when you purchased the software?

Greg: emailed a linked, and shipped the disc

Mukesh: Did you have a different email address when you purchased the software?

Greg: It states that I have no orders

Mukesh: May I know the complete name of the software?

    Greg: Photoshop CS3

    Greg: KEY; ####-@@@@-****-$$$$

Mukesh: May I know the operating system that you are using?

    Greg: windows XP

Mukesh: Thank you. Please stay online while I check if I can get the link. But I wont be able to assure you on that.

    Mukesh: Thank you for holding,Greg.

    Greg: good news?

Mukesh: I am sorry to inform you that there is no CS3,

Mukesh: I tried all my best, but I am helpless.

Greg: So I just lost $400

Greg: So where in the purchase of my software did it state, that we will only support/ allow for download for so long

Mukesh: I am sorry. however, you can upgrade to CS4 and it you upgrade now you will get a free upgrade to CS5.

Greg: Honestly, and I understand that this isnt your fault, but I dont care for the upgrade

    Greg: Especially, considering this situation

Greg: Why would I ever purchase an adobe product knowing that support is limited.

Mukesh: Greg, I apologize for the inconvenience caused but there is no other option.

Thanks for nothing Adobe, $400 down the drain!
