Pros Love the livestream from CNET on the launch of Blackberry 10 and the reviews that are quickly out. The product, I think, shines in comparison to the Microsoft OS.
Cons The one thing that I'm quite curious about is I'm a long term Apple/Mac etc user and I wonder how well it will integrate into this outstanding environment.
Summary I think its going to do well and save RIM. This is exactly what they needed to launch and it will only get better with feedback due to their OS architecture.
Pros - The Hub
- Syncing contacts and calendar
- Time-lapse camera
- Fast and reliable web browser
- Security (email, BBM...)
- Overall user-friendly interface (gestures + access to settings)
- The best touch screen keyboard hands down
- Removable battery
Cons Arguably app support but personally I can't complain. Have downloaded loads of apps and they all work great.
Summary I have been using BB10 for 6 months now and I love it. Way more enjoyable than android or iOS. The gestures are great and everything is easily accessible. The best mobile interface I've used yet.
Pros Relative to older BBery:
1) much faster browser
2) good keyboard and intelligent auto-correct
3) good for auto-safety because too complicated to use and keep eyes on road (i hope that no one tries)
Cons 1) swipe actions are not so intuitive. takes lots of trial and error to climb learning curve
2) power-up / reboot takes a long time
Summary i think the older generation of bbery users will be frustrated to learn. I-phone is a much easier transition

Pros *Feels great in my hands (I am a woman, small hands, great fit)
*Easy to set up email (all account types)
*Camera is excellent for a phone
*Call clarity is A++++
Cons *Not easier to use, time saver or productive
*Instead of ONE back button, you press MANY BACK BUTTONS
*The apps it does have, SUCK!
*The keyboard compared to Droid 4, not so much!
*Why are the notifications on the lock screen????? for what?
Summary I love BB and waited for this phone like a child for Santa. So before you guys send me nasty replies, know I just added 2 lines of service to our account so we can keep these Q10s because we want to be supportive. I am very disappointed at how basic things are "IN SERIOUS NEED" of improvements. I will keep the phones, I am so dedicated to keeping it that both my husband and I will wait for updates, and in the meantime we spent $400 buying two GS4's so we can have VZ Navigator and PayPal's PayHere for our business. This is what I call dedication to BB, so they better fix the bugs! This one kills me, I have to swipe up to get the SEND button to appear to send a message! like a text message! How insane is that? to go back, on most screens, you have to scroll up the list for the back button to appear so you can exit that screen! Email does not come in lighting fast like it used to and this was a BB thing! My outlook now gets the email first, next the GS4, then the BB. I am floored by this! BB LINK may or may not work, STILL can't figure that one out? WOW! also, what in the world is the map even there for? It tells me to MOVE TO A NON CLOUDY location! The fact that it knows to tell that is not a good sign.
Pros Love the swipe gesture
BB Balance is ingenious.
crazy about the Keyboard... its the smartest in the market.
The Time-Warp feature on the camera is genius
HDMI Output works great during presentations.
Hub is a neat way to glance at your entire updates
Cons Maps... i dont like them... Google seems to have better maps.
Summary Refreshingly different than the iOS and the Android.
Bored with all the phone OS feeling the same...
I like the BB10 OS , very clever,
I love the Keyboard the most, it learns dynamically the words you use the most and you are able to include them in a message by a mere swipe of your thumb... Very ingenious...
The sneak peek gestures are smart as well, unlike the other OS around, this one is a true multi-Tasking OS. you can choose to play videos and audio in the background while you are reading an email or any thing else.
Ability to look at details of ppl i have a meeting with is cool.
I can browse their Facebook/Linkedin/corporate profiles before i walk in a meeting and say something i shouldnt :)
And i think BB Balance takes the cake , where it actually works as a dual profile on the same phone... with all different settings as you chose to have.
I am staying on BB10 for now.
I think BlackBerry is heading in the correct direction ... wont be too long before the catch up to the big names again.. Keep up the good work.
