"In a word: FANTISTIC!!" on
Pros: I would totally recommend this version of FMP to ANYONE who wanted to build a relational database for use accross any platforms, webpages, blogs, etc.....it has a tremendous advantage over Access in that unlike the Microsoft product, FMP has a real-world
Cons: None I can find so far---but, give me some time.

"It's Quirky" on by houstonwb
Pros: Better than Access
Cons: Full of character
Summary: Filemaker used to be quirky & simple, now it's just quirky.

"Many Great improvements - blew it on the fonts" on by cgarch
Pros: Much improved functionality
Cons: Threw away any cross-platform usefulness
Summary: Unless you like all of your fonts to be Times NR, Helvetica or Veredana, any hope of cross-platform functionality has been thrown out. Minimal mention of this meant upgrade hell - had I know I might have stayed with 6. Tables, functions are all greatly improved but the font issue is a total loser.

"Absolutely AWESOME" on
Pros: The new ability to have multiple tables in a single database is awesome, although I’m not sure what the cnet reviewer meant by a “new capability to keep multiple database files open simultaneously”; that feature’s been there since FileMaker 1.0, released
Cons: Nothing major. I wish there were an easy way to import multiple FM6 files as tables in a single FM7 database, but I’ve enjoyed the update process, too.
