"I give this product 1 * since 1/2 * wasn't available"
1.0 starson by ramrexPros: Pros? Microsoft people are pros at messing things up. They are masters of force-feeding products down people's throats that end up creating misery and resentment.
Cons: EVERYTHING. The UI. The defaults. The look and feel. The slowness. The unintuitive design. The madness of the designers. And the fact that I wasted so much of my life on Vista already and now this piece of dog poo.
Summary: Microsoft has proved it is now completely dicsonnected from the user community. It has no idea how the world works, and what users want. It is completely inept in gathering customer input ahead of code changes and it does not know how to design with the world OUT THERE in mind. It has no concept of testing a product ahead of time to gauge customer response so that if it's unfavorable it makes revisions to fix those issues. I have ZERO use for this product. It sucks. It's awful. It's incredibly, maddeningly frustrating to use. I *HATE* the new UI. No no, hate is too weak of a word. I am disgusted by it. I don't like how EVERYTHING is hidden somewhere. I hate the defaults. I hate the default fonts. I don't like how the document takes up the whole screen. I hate the unintuitive icons. I don't like it that every time I open another word document first all my already open documents pop to the top, one by one, before the new one comes up. Folks, I can't find ONE good word to say about this product. For what I do, this thing is just torture.
Microsoft has done it again. First it was Vista, and now this. You suck. This product sucks. I'm uninstalling it. I'll go to Mac if I have to, or Linux, but I refuse to be tied to this garbage.
