Pros: None. Well, maybe not: It's a nice way to lose money if you have some extra laying around and don't know what to do with it. Your time too for that matter.
Cons: Doesn't work (at least for me). Messes with your OS. High risk to use. Customer service's solution could take hours and cost more from the phone call itself than the defective product.
Summary: Version 7, no problem, Version 8, a total mess. It wouldn't connect to my Windows 8 Pro and made it so that when I later tried to Bootcamp into Windows 8 it caused some big issues there too. Customer service was kind but wanted to take control of my computer as well as delete and reinstall Windows 8! Since the 8 was an upgrade from 7 he told me that there was the possibility of having to reinstall that too. Of course all of this could take hours and with no guarantee that it would work. I was pretty irritated at his illogical responses to my direct questions although he tried to be really polite but seemed stuck in a situation where he couldn't win due to the defective product and Parallels hard-assed keeping your money back policy. I felt bad for him while at the same time I was angry at the company, but I hope he can another find a job which would support his ethics.
My recommendation: Research before you buy!
