Summary: This software is unusable. It is constantly changing its settings forcing me to burn things manually one Item at a time. I can't believe there is no other burning software for the mac. This is another reason I am thinking of switching back to xp. By the way, Toast 7 worked good but it slowed everything down because it has to run in Rosetta.

Pros: Allows you to copy CDs without copying the content to your computer
Cons: ROXIO WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR REBATE OR THEIR RETURN POLICY, A WHOLE NOT OF NOTHING FOR THE PRICE
Summary: I bought Toast 8 and it was HORRIBLE! A whole lot of hype over NOTHING, especially not worth $100. It takes over two hours to burn a DVD, not what I'd expect for the price. Even more, I was not given the rebate promised by Roxio and did not get a refund after contacting Roxio within 30 days. IF YOU THINK MICROSOFT IS BAD, ROXIO AND THEIR PARENT SONIC SOLUTIONS ARE EVEN WORSE! I would rather take $100 outside and pee on it before spending it on another Roxio product!

Pros: The Interface is easy to use, and it seems to have all of the accessory tools...plenty of bells and whistles.
Cons: At a bare minimum you will burn one in four coasters trying to burn any videos. My average with them is considerably worse. I never use them to burn music or to create any movies. They always seem to totally screw it up somehow.
Summary: Why use them at all, when you can use DMG master to make an image that you can mount and then burn in the OS disk utilities very easily...and successfully virtually 100% of the time. I can see no advantage to Roxio products, and use them very sparingly. They tend to make way to many coasters. Not worth the time and effort...definitely not worth the price. I have the same issues using their products in windows. They tend to make controlling and bloated software, that cannot create decent copies of whatever it is you are burning, nearly as often as they should be able to do so. I took all Roxio products out of my windows machines, and am likely to do the same now in my macs. There just plain are better options. I certainly cannot recommend them at all.

Pros: It would be great if Tivo Transfer functionality worked as advertised.
Cons: Tivo Transfers have audio that is out-of-sync. Roxio tech support did not help.
Summary: My experience with this product has been terrible.
