Pros Like the EXPLORE option, but it's slow on results.
Cons Frustrating. Not user friendly with expected results.
Summary I paid the $5 bucks for the Slices app after reading CNET's recommendation on it and seeing the ratings. Disappointed in it. It's slow, but it also might be my phone or internet connection. I do get that, but don't experience that with other apps. The "slices" are pretty much just the same as just creating "lists". Right off the bat, i feel as if I just wasted the money on this app. I assumed the "slices" would organize the hundreds of profiles I follow into "slices" automatically (even tho, I can't imagine how that would even be possible). Either way, frustrated enough to make this post. I do kinda dig the EXPLORE feature, but other than that, I'd rather have had advertisements embedded in the app,to just utilize that feature. Example of performance in the EXPLORE feature.. Select MUSIC.. Featured profiles pop up fast.. Click ALL.. just a blank screen.. after waiting for about 30 seconds, profiles pop up. Oh, and then I bookmarked a search.. click on it, then get a screen that says to: "tap to refresh". Do that, nothing still appears. When I click on anything in my LISTS, same screen with no results, just a blank screen. Also, when clicking on profiles, it defaults for their biography, but when click on tweets, I don't seen anything, just a blank screen with the tap to refresh. On regular twitter, I can see their tweets, so I know the profile isn't protected. ALSO - searching on words that I know regular twitter returns results, doesn't happen in this app. Needless to say, after playing with it for 20 minutes, I've lost all interest in it.
