Pros improved predictive behavior
good 'swipelike' action - if you like that sort of thing
clever auto spacing feature
Cons does not become default keyboard (a deal breaker)
indolent customer service
Summary Good to Great keyboard with a CRITICAL flaw.
The non trial version does not "stick" as the default keyboard. After any sort of reboot and at seemingly random other times as well, the keyboard on many devices, including my ATT Galaxy S3, defaults back to the stock one.
If you don't think this is exasperating, check out SwiftKey's own bug report forum. The folks who post there are breaking out the torches and pitchforks! All the SwiftKey staff does is shift the blame to Google. The problem, which dates from February of 2012, has, on a couple of occasions, even been declared as fixed. Such a torpid attitude to customer service is a real problem.
Pros Keyboard predictor
Cons none i can think of
Pros Accuracy, predictions, simplicity.
Cons Simplicity is a pro and a con. Wish there were some more customization options, but that's a minor complaint.
Summary No keyboard for Android is as good. And, yes, I've tried them all. Simply the best.
Pros Very quick
Flow interface effortlessly predicts my swiping gestures.
It's cunning features are enrapturing.
You are able to change text to foreign characters with long press.
Many more pro's that I can't remember.
Cons There are no cons.
Summary This keyboard is quite phenomenal, it easily predicts my text (to the point in which common phrases pop up, and I haven't even bothered typing). Red is my favorite color and it's fantastic that they have a red theme that I can use. Flow is amazing, makes texting effortless and even "sightless" at times. I would highly recommend this product, especially if it is on sale.
Pros Excellent word prediction, gets better at predicting the more you use it. Can predict words of up to three languages simultaneously. New flow style of typing works really well with word prediction.
Cons Getting used to using flow after being used to traditional typing takes a little time to get used to.
Summary Probably the best android keyboard available. The best feature about it is it's ability to learn from the words and sentences you use to type and adapts it's prediction technology to choose which words you're likely to write next. The more you use it, the better it gets at predicting words. New version includes flow for people who like to swipe words instead of typing.
