Pros fast, clean, small footprint, easy to install
Cons none so far
Summary until cnet does there editor reviews i think you should try it first and dont knock it down you guys are not experts. many corp networks use this and so does my company and i myself use it at home...and just as I figured none of you have any relevant reviews as you all have only 1-3 posts. I may only have 1 post so far but I thought I would sign up and give it a try just like I have with this software. The only intelligent post so far was the other guy who mentioned there has not been a lot of testing done in different situations. The rest of you guys don't even know what you are talking about this is one of the lightest apps using 84% less memory resources than the previous version and is under ~20MB which is half what NOD32 uses and its one of the lightest on the market.

Pros i only like the pc network monitoring tool which allows you to view which pc is infected.
Cons hogs memory. does not protect fully/ false scene of protection.
Summary this product needs to be revamped..
Pros Nothing at all
Cons I work in desktop support and I have user's constantly taking their laptops home and comming back with viruses. Granted for some stupid reason they all have admin rights and we are still on XP. I haven't seen SEP 11 block one attack.
Summary Bottom line is to not even consider this product. Go with Trend Micro!!

Pros Have had no pros with this software
Cons Memory hog !!!!!!. Tech support is in-effective. live-update does not push out to client stations on a consistant basis. Was difficult to install in server environment.
Summary I am in the process of researching other providers and dumping my symantec product. I also use their backup software which I am also dumping. I would not recommend this product to anyone at this time. To bad also, Symantec used to be the Cadillac of the anti virus software.

Pros Fast, intuitive, clean install to Windows 7 (with newest release), discreet, powerful, catches viruses before they can do any damage, doesn't slow down my computer, updates discreetly and automatically as well
Cons None thus far
Summary I have to agree with Valnomien as well. I've been using this software for year or so now from my company, and so far I have not had one issue with viruses or security. Although earlier versions of Norton were memory hogs, this one runs much lighter than the other antivirus/firewall combos I've tried. I'd argue this corporate version offered by Symantec does a great job regardless of the reputation the other products by Norton might have.
Try before you post.
