"Good card lack of support"
Pros: great qualtiy and internal drive is nice
Cons: lack of support
Summary: Never buy this card. Save yourself the frustration. The software sucks.It tells me the following: "Unhandled Exception unable to invoke subscribers, setup will now terminate," whenever I try to uninstall their terrible software. Then to make things even 'better' the loser tech support guys tell me to reinstall windows for their application. Then I ask myself wait; these guys developed the software or did they type some random code and hope for the best. The guys have no clue what they are doing. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he will call me the latest within 2 days. Why so long? Manager is getting a neck rub or something? Now they are offering a $100 rebate on this crap ooops I ment card. Believe me I am a pro, I know what I'm saying.

I was going to buy this Card Today because I had finally received back some rebates I had been waiting for. So when checking prices I saw there was a 100.00 rebate; I said even greater; but wanted to read some User Reviews so came to Cnet of course to do that. Well thankfully I read your opinion and a few others and you all agree that if you have issues the Tech Support is Nonexistant. Well to me Tech Support is a major Concern when buying Certain Upgrades; and this is 1 item where I would be concerned about having Good Tech support. These Days Good Tech Support is Lacking many Manuf. used to have good Tech support; but I am finding lately that it's not true anymore; seems many companies when cutting Expenses seem to cut in that Area. Which is a mistake; I am so tired of calling Tech Support only to hear them going thru their Booklet and if you have a problem that's not in their booklet; your Beat; I get the same Response we will Escalate and Someone will be in Touch. And Pigs will Fly TOO!! I have been very disappointed in many companies these days who used to have great tech support and no longer have it; I am tired of being more knowledgeable than the Tech Support I call. Many of them are Clueless. So as you can see I am Sooooooo Happy I read your Review; i want Creative Labs because of their Good Quality; I will just try to find a SC that dosen't seem to have as many issues as this Card Seems to Have. What A Shame; sounded like a really good card too if the Software works for ya.
