"Had it for a month and works great"
4.5 starson by CoroniumPros: Good sound for the price
Cons: Input ports are too close together
Summary: My on board RealTek sound card gave up and I was going to buy the Dynex because of the reviews. WalMart didn't have any so I bought the Audigy SE anyway hoping it would be okay. I deleted the old drivers and disabled the motherboard sound. The on board RealTek sound was flakey anyway and I was always rebooting to get it to work. One review said they had trouble getting the Audigy SE to record but since I wasn't planning to record, I bought it anyway. I installed the card and it works amazingly well. It is so much better than the on board sound card. For making picture presentations with music with ProShow, it does the job very well.
However, I then needed to take some material off a cassette and put it in a presentation and I was concerned if the card would record okay. When I got the connection made and the software installed, it recorded with the microphone port just like I would expect. The ports are close together and I had so sand some of the rubber off one to get the plugs to go in correctly. Other than that, I have been pleased with this card and I would buy this again without hesitation.
I don't know about their technical support because I have not needed to use it.
This was my experience and I hope this has been helpful.
