"Get a megabright at durapro.com (self power) or at costco"
Pros: no batteries, my forearms and wrist are stronger
Cons: Shake time 10 mins, light time 2 mins
Summary: You would not believe how long you have to shake this thing and you don't get much use time after.
Good for building wrist and forearm strength.
If you don't use it for a while the battery takes EVEN longer to start charging. I almost threw it out and decided I needed more exercise and it started working after 10-15 minutes or continual shaking (and that was only a dim light, but it was life).
I found a great product in costco called MegaBright Self power by DuraPro (I get no money for telling you this).
It has a hand crank in the back, 3 LED's and an emergency flasher mode.
This thing is so bright and lasts a long time on very few cranks.
The only con I can come up with on this one is that you have to cycle past the emergency flasher mode to shut it off.
