"picture seems all right" on
Summary: Of course it's possible to get a new unit for free if you paid a little extra for the receiver if someone has any problems with it. Anyway DVI does not look better I tested it. If someone wanted to buy a receiver it would switch better. And if Integra or marantz came out with a hdtv reveiver it would be far more expensive and superior.

"Simply THe Best !!" on
Summary: I just purchased this unit a few days ago and the picture quality is unbelievable. It's like watching TV for the first time. The other responses regarding the hissing noises bother me a bit, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. Is there anyone out there that has had this for over a year with no problems ??

"Power Supply Problems" on
Summary: I have the DTC-100 and after about 5 months the unit was hissing, squealing and turning itself off. I called the electronics store where I bought it and I called RCA and either place wanted to do anything about it. Rather then have a $600 dollar paper weight I found WWW.Truettelectronics.com that would fix my unit for $100 plus shipping. It was fixed one day after they received it and I haven't had any problems since. If you can't get anywhere with RCA and you want HDTV the $115 was worth the price. I recommend getting a signature along with insurance before you ship the unit out.
