"Complete disaster that reduces productivity"
Pros: Not many. Unless you call the ability to sort by color a productivity increase
Cons: The ability to effectively use macros and custom toolbars has been virtually destroyed. The help screens are horrible. This product appears to have built for someone who has never used a computer before.
Summary: I don't have time to detail all the productivity I have lost in the weeks since our company "upgraded" to Excel 2007. I have many, many macros and custom toolbars that allowed me to fly through my day and get things done. Those capabilities are gone. The complex maze of customizing the ribbon, the inability to reasign macro's to a button, the fact that file assignments change depending on how you saved your file the last time you added a macro, etc. I could go on and on. Based on the comments from peers, I am not alone in being horribly frustrated by this terrible product change.
