Summary: I previously purchased an older Bravus 10D sub. My receiver did not put out a signal loud enough to turn it on. When it did kick in, the older sub just did not sound great. Aperion swapped out a new one for the old one and the new Bravus II 10D sounds great! It is expensive, but for the space this thing takes up, its look, and sound make the price worth it. Aperion has great customer service and will ship it both ways for free if you don't like it - there is nothing to lose in checking it out for 30 days. I have had mine for just a few days but this is staying put in my house.
