"Good performance but with reliability problem" on by nicmart
Pros: More than competent for discerning consumer
Cons: Multiple repairs necessary for bad capacitor
Summary: I was pleased with the performance of the PS10, but I admit I'm a discerning user, not an audiophile.
Unfortunately, after I had owned it for about a year the sub began to make a chirp sound at the beginning of a listening session, so I had it repaired. It worked for another year or so and then the chirp returned. Infinity acknowledged that the chirp was a "known issue" due to a capacitor problem. I had it repaired a second time. Infinity courteously covered that repair even though the unit was a month out of warranty. When I brought the unit home the chirp still existed, so I called Infinity and they graciously agreed to replace the sub with a newer model at no charge. Good sound, poor reliability, and excellent customer service. Due to the good service I'd buy Infinity again. They stand behind the product, and that counts for a lot. If it were not for the repeated capacitor problem I'd have given the unit a 10. -
"Its the life of my home theater" on by gemelo1080p
Pros: Really good bass , its fills my room with great deep punching bass. Great performance on low frequencies (27- 80). If you hide it in the closet it will perform perfectly.
Cons: Not a good performer on frequencies above 100hz . Can cause hearing loss on small rooms if not set correctly.
Summary: My family gave me this sub woofer for my birthday on august 2004, and 4 year 9 months later it performs like the first day. This sub woofer is virtually difficult to stress, i have cranked my HT to the top and the only distortion that I hear is from my door and from my ears bleeding. By the way i experienced some hearing loss and tinnitus because of the thundering bass this sub woofer caused , so it can easily produce bass above 140db, so people be careful if you plan to use this sub woofer on your room . This sub is most adequate for a living room. If you plan to buy a sub woofer , infinity is good choice , the quality of its construction is excellent . I use it for music and movies and perform really well on both modes. The only issue and its not really a issue is that it make a chip sound when it wake up from standby. Also keep the crossover frequency below 80hz.

"Quality, durability and affordability all in one THUMPING SUB!" on by JJS74
Pros: Infinity technology and quality
Cons: None so far!!
Summary: If you can still find one and are in need of a quality 10" sub buy it when you see it. I got mine for 220 bucks and it has not disappointed me yet. Its very accurate with music and movie soundtracks. Like I said, see it, buy it.
