"Great Sub!"
Pros: compact, loud
Cons: none so far
Summary: I've read a couple of reviews here that theirs blew after a couple of years. I've had mine since 02 and it's still going after 4 years. I did not turn up mine all the way up. Instead i turned up my receiver to max and the sub to about 70% only.
Mine is still in flawless condition (cosmetic and sonic). The only sign of aging it has is a weird cracking sound when you turn the pot to almost 90% to max. Maybe because I have not gone that far? It does not affect anything though. I think the pot just needs some WD-40.
Otherwise it's pretty good. The JBL surround that came with this package blew a couple of years back because I think I forgot to set my receiver's speaker setting to small. My center is still doing great as well.
