"Musically Deep."
Pros: Musical. Fast. Deep.
Cons: Lacks slam for movies.
Summary: I'm still in the process of deciding whether or not to get the 12" version. I currently have the 10" and it sounds great with music . It's not so bad with movies, however, with some movie scenes particularly the Mount Doom scene in The Lord of The Rings: Return of the King DVD and the Whale scene in Finding Nemo, the bass seems a tad lacking.
This is not to say that the kit does not deliver enough bass: it does, but not with enough slam that slam-happy movie junkies would love. It could also do with a bit of low-frequency extension.
I listened to the 12" version (RW-12) and it did delivery enough volume and depth (still a tad lacking in slam, but that's probably just me) and was enough to literally shake my pants (without the usual impression that your innards were being shaken up). It was just not as snappy in music.
Now if only i can decide between the 10" or 12" versions.
