I tested various high end subs before settling with the Mirage Omni S8. The S8 sounded better and reached lower notes than some of the more expensive $1000+ with larger driver units. Easily matches most 10" and 12" subwoofers. It took about 50-hours of break-in before the unit could be adjusted for accuracy and you will notice a difference. The subwoofer will provide you with virtually distortion free, wall rattling bass and is essential for any serious home theater.
