Pros Booming sub great all around sound.
Cons My sub stopped working about 2 months in, but Aperion had no problem sending out a new one free of charge.
Summary There are cheaper options out there, but if you want speakers that you know are going to sound great these are the ones for you. The sound is clean and crisp and even when you pump up the volume.
Pros Sounds pretty good, easy to set up. One of the best packaged deals.
Cons If you piece together a an RF-82 or F-3 set from Klipsch you'll be awstruck and wouldn't believe that this is rated the best compared to Klipsch models. Could get the F-3 set for about $1600 and would never be disappointed and never look back.
Pros Construction quality.
Great sound quality, especially the sub-woofer which makes the living room floor shakes while not showing any sign of distortion.
Cons Trumpets could sound better.
Summary I own Aperion audio speakers since 2 years now and I am still as happy on the first day I received them, free shipping, wrapped in velvet sleeves.
The glossy piano finish (this is the black models) makes them a perfect match with my HD TV of the same finish and made my wife very happy for she was opposing having "big boxes / towers" in the living room.
Pros Size, construction, design, wonderful sound, and gorgeous.
Cons Me. These ears are tired.
Summary Searched the 'net for speakers, and when I found these I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I got these for home theater to watch movies. My space is small and awkward as it was built in 1964. Mounted the HDTV above the fireplace, then flanked it with the towers and placed the center speaker on the mantle. Mounted the satellites on the ceiling at the other end of the room, and ran the Aperion-supplied speaker wire (best I've ever used!) in the crawl space above, a painful experience indeed. The sub was placed on the floor against the right wall; there was no other location availableIn my review above, I wrote: "The spikes are tremendous, and I half-expected the speakers to give up."
The cherry wood and black grills matched perfectly with our decor (happy wife!), and I settled in to set things up. I use a Denon amplifier to drive the system. When I had it set up, I gave it the acid test: the Kevin Costner/Robert Duvall movie "Open Range."
The gunfight in that movie is about the best ever filmed. But when you hear it, Oh. My. God! The spikes are tremendous, and I half-expected the speakers to give up. They were superb. Crisp, clean, taut response for the entire gunfight, and no discernible lag anywhere. When it was done, I was exhausted. And very, very pleased with my purchase.
Last but not least, the entire interaction with Aperion was flawless. They are very approachable and willing to help with any issue that may arise. It had been about twenty years since my last speaker purchase. The speaker wire they supply is the best I've ever seen; I'm a former technician and the copper is about as pure as you'll ever see.
And to top it off, the speakers came in purple velvet bags. What I'll do with those, I've no idea, but it's a nice touch.
I've used the speakers for two-and-a-half years now (June 15, 2012), and I'm as happy with them now as I was on day one. Great work, Aperion!

When I say spikes, I mean the audio spikes from the gunshots. There's a lot of instantaneous energy being dumped into the speakers. At volume, you feel that energy hit you physically, much like the shockwave from actual gunfire. I hope that clarifies my comment.

Pros Great sound quality, top-notch customer service, simple design and easy to install, beautiful woodwork, finish, and construction.
Cons Price. Bass not overpowering.
Summary There is no doubt these speakers are top of the line and made by people who love music. The sound is top-notch and the speakers have a small footprint. The bass is adequate for my needs, but may not blow away bassheads.
The only con I see is the price; however, I believe you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a long-term investment on speakers, then the price tag is compartively cheap. The customer service is first rate, the construction is exceptionally solid, and the finish fits well in any room. These speakers will definitely last for many years.
