"Good addition" on by eric_l
Pros: Easy to set up
Cons: Not much too say about this
Summary: I was in the market for a step up for the sound provided by my TV (Samsung HT-5054)speakers. The BA Tvee looks great and sounds good with movies and music. The wireless subwoofer was placed about 10' away from the unit with no interferace. This unit was very easy to set-up. My only issue is that when I use the unit at low levels it seems to shut down until I move the TV volume up. I will contact BA to discuss this as there is nothing in the manaul. Over all I am very happy with this unit and would take it over my first choice the Bose CineMate speakers.

"Bad remote comands" on by mpaasux
Pros: E-Z programing with original remote
Cons: Wont program volume with DTV remote's.
Summary: Ez to program with original tv remotes But if your using DTV remote look for other sound systems. Spent 2HR trying to make the TVee understand the Direct tv remote but no luck using volume up/down. it will program with original remote but wont respond to universal remote. Unit also wont work if remote is more then 7' from sound bar. $100 mabe but $300+ just save your time and Money and get a hardwire system that has better sound quality & Speekers .

"Wireless Subwoofer is nice but lack of remote is a showstopper!" on by joleary
Pros: Easy hookup with L-R audio to TV
Cons: Home Theater Master MX-600 remote did not learn to control this device
Summary: Product comes without a remote and the IR learning remote MX-600 from Universal could not learn to control the TVee speaker so I returned it.

"Good...but there are issues that can be avoided." on by AudixDIY
Pros: Price, easy to program TV remote to control sound, sound is decent.
Cons: Bass quit working after first week, analog only audio input complicates hook up to HDTV with digital audio output only.
Summary: I bought this model after hearing it at a retail store compared to other similar models, It had superior sound to most other soundbars and at least the same quality of sound to higher priced soundbars. The price was less than those comparable models, so far so good. At home I discovered that my brand new Panasonic Viera HDTV has only a digital audio output, this soundbar has only an analog audio input. In order to connect the two you must have a converter. According to tech sheets/comments, not all converters will work and they cost >$75. You have to do your research and buy the right one. While doing my research the bass quit working, likely a blown fuse but that is a guess. It could have been something more. Anyways this was my excuse to return the item for a full refund. I will now search for a digital audio output compatible soundbar or possibly a surround sound home theater that is wireless. If this model is updated to include a digital audio input hook-up, then even considering the bass quit working, I would buy another one, if there is a good return policy. Right now I am recommending not to buy it unless your tv allow for analog audio output, no reason to deal with the hassle and added expense of a converter. I will have to see if Boston Acoustics sells a soundbar that is digital compatible. Get the point.

"Mediocre sound quality. Expected more." on by TomS1222
Pros: Easy set up. Works with Direct TV remote without issues.
Cons: Not any better than my Sony Television Speakers. At least with them I can set Treble and Base with the Boston Acoustic system you can only set the Volume. Very disapointed.
Summary: If you want a decent TV sound look elsewhere. For Boston Acoustic is product is disapointing.
