Newton Theater MC100.2 sets a new precedent in home theater speaker systems. The front and rear channels in this system feature four of the new MC100 two-way satellite speakers. They combine a 3/4" silk-fabric dome tweeter and a 3 1/2" composite midrange driver for accurate, natural sound. They will easily handle a wide range of high to mid-frequencies from both movies and music. The MC150 center speaker uses a 3/4" silk-fabric dome tweeter and two 3 1/2" composite midrange drivers in an "MTM" (Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange) design for smooth, wide-dispersion sound with pinpoint accuracy. The five speakers all work together to provide a smooth, seamless transition across the soundstage. The heart of this system is the new P200 powered subwoofer. It uses a 10" long-throw polymer laminate woofer - identical to that used in the flagship P1000 sub - driven by a 200-watt B.A.S.H. digital amplifier. The P200 delivers accurate, clean bass at high volumes down to 25 Hz! The P200 can fill even a good-sized area with room-shaking bass while also filling in the "punch" that is missing from your favorite musical selections. Review: After all this time, Cambridge is still making some of the best speaker systems out there. Does not matter if it's home theater or PC's, this company is top notch!
