I picked this set up for $500 delievered and i dare someone to find a better 5.1 speaker system for that price. That being said if you ae paying the $1000-1300 retail you can find much better speakers. The sub is the best part of this set with a booming range that you rarely have to turn up. People have complained about sub issues but CV's customer service has always been good. They get more points for value rather than overall performance.
