"Terrific Entry/Low-Mid level package" on by Hassy500

Pros: Excellent value-for-money, fit and finish, ability to swing with home theater or 2 channel sources

Cons: Sub could use a little more composure

Summary: Part of Sony W3000 TV, Denon 1908 Receiver, and PS3 Blu-Ray Player system. Excellent bang-for buck outfit that easily outdoes HTIB systems, albeit with added cost. Very happy with sonic performance in stereo (jazz, rock, old-skool rap) as well as lossless audio from Blu-Ray movies. Passive radiators allow system to walk through big-bass challenges and still have enough detail for classical soundtracks. Bought on sale as part of above package for $500; can't be beat in sound comparison to Bose cubes, HTIB, etc. Fit and finish is far better than anything else I saw near it (Boston Acoustics MCS 100) Powered subwoofer is hearty but needs to be dialed back to avoid boom/loose performance. Highly recommended for value and performance price point!

"Fabulous system; sounds great; great value for price" on by Frank Habib

Pros: good bass; accurate mid and high; very classy look

Cons: satellite speakers have limits at high end power

Summary: Have a Samsung 5084; with a Yamaha 663 receiver; Sony 5 disc CD/DVD player with 1080i upgrade and the Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 surround sound. Had it custom installed and calibrated - picture, sound and performance outstanding. Speaker system gives me enough of what I was looking for. Am used to hearing Klipsch KG3 and Polk studio monitors for music. This speaker system is great and I am very satisfied.

"great sound, go with option 1 for install" on by chefbri

Pros: WOW what can I say, YES they sound great. Not for Apt or condo, unless you hate your neighbors. If you have hardwood floors you'll need to find some carpeting that glues to the floor and cut out peices for the feet on base, or it will travel LOL

Cons: no cons except for the amount of banana plugs used, because of the recomended set up. Which sounds GREAT!

Summary: What else can I say, I'm using this with a Denon 1910 ( which I also love)and Its just incredible. After a month, I still feel as though I'm at the theater. And I still jump now and then from a surprised sound. Its so real

    "Great purchase" on by hergs10

Pros: Good sound quality for HD tv, movies, music and gaming. Have running through an Onkyo TX-SR607 with the front speakers stemming from the sub and provides enjoyable sound for all of my entertainment needs.

Cons: The package did not come with any speaker wire, or LFE connection. As noted in previous posts, the front-sub-front connection is annoying. Mounting the center speaker to the wall does require buying mounts (no key hole like the other speakers.)

Summary: Would recommend to friends and family, easy to install, great sound quality and nice clean look.

"Broke after 3 weeks of use" on by tenacious_fly

Pros: Sounds nice when it wasnt broken,

Cons: Weird connection of the front channels. One of the speaker stopped working after 3 weeks.

Summary: Would've gotten 4 stars if it didnt break on me. My 6 year old Panasonic speakers sounds almost as good and it hasnt given me any fits at all. All in all though, the movies sound good with this, if only it works....
