The 6 speaker package includes a patent pending Ventriloquist center channel and five micro satellites that fix one of the biggest problems associated with micro-satellite systems. Paired with a HSU subwoofer, accurate full-range music and home theater will cost much less than competing systems. The center channel possesses two 4" x 6" woofers that play the deeper notes for the micro satellites. A wide, balanced soundstage is created. Incidentally, sending the 80 - 250 Hz frequencies to the subwoofer would ruin the soundstage. The system works by using a center channel with extra inputs and outputs for the left and right channels. The center channel directs the 80 - 250 Hz bass from the left and right channels to the center channel's large woofers. The remaining higher frequencies are sent to the micro-satellites. In addition to the sound quality, a special rear center channel allows 6 channel sound from 5 channel sources. The system works by matrixing the back rear channels. If someone you know bought an expensive home theater system recently, you may not want to play them this. It could lead to buyer's remorse!Product summary

Great system for the price. You'd have to spend hundreds more to make a significant improvement.
Pros: Very rich sound for such a small system and at an extremely good price. The Ventriloquist system outsmarts slightly deficient satellites. I got the VT-12 with the STF-1 subwoofer and it outperforms any that I've heard.
Cons: Ventriloquist hook-up is slightly more time-consuming.

Super crisp sound from small speakers
Pros: Very clear sound, much clearer than similar, and even more expensive models. Good range, especially when bundeled with subwoofer (A must have). Rear center allows for 6.1 audio from a standard 5.1 system.
Cons: The extra wiring required to take advantage of the whole system.

Pros: Extremely clear sound. Small speakers are perfect for wall mounting. I've had them for about 1 month now and have not had a single problem yet. Ventriloquist mode is just simply awesome!
Cons: Extra wiring needed on center speaker if you want to use vetriloquist mode.
