"Not a buy recommendation"
Pros: Great sound
Cons: volume level is too low
Summary: CONS:
1) does not accept a speaker singal
2) my SONY surround-amp has a LINE out for the rear speakers, but neither the amp nor the JBL transmitter let me adjust the volume sufficiently. With both amp amp (+10dB) speakers at full volume, the sound level is still below the front speakers - and as such not noticeable.
NOTE: Most reviews complain about the cable to the left speaker, but I can live with that (it would need a power plug otherwise). I find the external power brick of the right speaker much more annoying. It is quite big and ugly. Why is that not built into the speaker ?
