SKU: SCS-160SI
Manufacturer: Harman International Industries
Manufacturer description
With five identical satellites, a matching horizontal center speaker and a floor-shaking 150-watt subwoofer, the SCS160SI completes your 5.1 or 6.1 surround system. (If your receiver only has 5.1 channels, just save the extra satellite until you upgrade.) The five satellites are true 2-way speakers with advanced titanium-laminate-dome tweeters and dual drivers for more sound power and realism. The center channel speaker is identical to the satellites for seamless pans, with two midranges for extra power and clarity in the dialogue channel, but is configured for horizontal placement on top of many televisions. The satellite and center speakers are all video-shielded for placement near a television. The room-shaking 150-watt powered subwoofer delivers the excitement of thunderous, penetrating bass. All cables and satellite wall-mount brackets are included.Product summary
The good: Dolby Digital EX/DTS ES-compatible 6.1-channel speaker system; five two-way satellites; dedicated center-channel speaker; beefy, 150-watt powered subwoofer; included wall-mount brackets.
The bad: Subwoofer lacks definition.
The bottom line: The pint-size JBL's home-theater moxie wowed us, but its musical refinement was less thrilling.

Good for movies, not for music
Pros: Nice size satellites, included wall brackets, crisp sounding center
Cons: Subwoofer is finicky; but it does shake the house when set right. Music sounds tinny

This system rocks!!
Pros: What can I say, this system is awesome. I spent weeks comparing systems, listening to them and I chose JBL. I am not dissapointed. The sub is clear and accurate and the satelites work great.
Cons: The sub's volume level is hard to match to the overall system, I have to set it each time according to the movie. The center channel is a simply a satelite turned on it's side, I need to upgrade to a better center channel.

Nice small speaker
Pros: This speakers put out a very big sound in a very small package. If you are looking for a surround sound system that doesn't job in your face when you walk in the room, this is it. It's ten times better than a comparable bose system, a fourth of the pric
Cons: The sub is not great. There is a lot of variation in output at different frequencies between 20-100 hertz. It is very difficult to calibrate and make music sound good. However, it works well for movies. The satellite speakers don't put out anything ab
